Circles

Twelve weeks, the same small group, every week.

Connect, reflect, recharge, and draw on the wisdom of the Quran and each other. Circles meet on Zoom, and the group stays the same for the whole season — which is the part that makes it work.

The Quran is supposed to be lived. This is a space like where it is being applied in our lives at home and with our families.

Twelve weeks with a small group of caregivers working through feeding together — latch, supply, weaning, and everything that sits underneath it.

See this Circle

It feels like a true support group with my sisters because even though we did not know each other from before, the space feels safe enough to open up and share honestly.

What happens in a Circle

A small group of caregivers meets on Zoom for twelve weeks. Each session starts where everyone actually is that week, and moves into the material from there — reading the Quran as something lived rather than something studied at a distance.

It is a support group, not a class you fall behind in. Come as you are, with the week you have had. Nobody is expected to arrive prepared, and nobody is put on the spot.

You're actively engaging with the suras of the Quran to access the meanings by approaching them in this way. It has helped my own Quran journey to find meaning in it. It's not the same as when you are hearing an audio or video recording. It's nicer to be on live all together.

The come as you are environment helped people to participate and show up naturally.

Coming to the circle helps bring clarity to the issue I'm having in my life.
